The island called Middlesea was once full of adventurers, being the only island on a waterway into a famous dungeon located in the sea where the island was. It had become the perfect place for adventurers to base on or take a break. Sailors also used to restock and get repairs on their ships here. Adventurers often traded treasure taken out of the dungeon on the island.

But after the dungeon's every nook and cranny was explored and mapped, every treasures taken, and even monsters started to extinct, the visitors became lesser and lesser. The island had lost its wealth, the population and glory of the dungeon‘s treasure. Soon it returned to its roots as a forgettable small fishing village. There weren't any adventurers left, except two adventurers from far east who settled down in this town.

The people of Middlesea now lived a quiet, peaceful but slightly dull life than before, without knowing that the fate of turning the whole island upside down would soon be upon them.
